Friday, I woke up early and ventured the Tube to go to the Victoria & Albert Museum. I am pretty proud of myself of figuring out how the Tube system works and using it successfully!
The V&A Museum was beautiful and so amazing! We couldn't go to the Grace Kelly exhibit, because tickets were required and they were sold-out for that day. But I will reserve mine and come back soon. So I went to the other exhibits: Fashion, Medieval Art, Paintings, Sculptures, etc. So beautiful!!! Everything was so amazing. I saw many Picassos, Matisse, and Warhols - even the famous Marilyn Monroe paintings.
Afterwards, I got a cappuccino and scone and sat out by a garden with lemon trees. Simply divine!

Today, Saturday, I went SHOPPING!!!! We went to Oxford Circus, which had Topshop, Zara, New Look, H&M, and many other shopping places! It was HEAVEN! I bought a jacket at Topshop and a striped shirt for 4 pounds at some no-name shop!
Topshop was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be making a trip back! : )
Tomorrow, we have a class meeting, and then class starts on Monday : ( I am enjoying life without thinking about law school, so class is not welcomed!
Liz, today was quite an eventful day with berton's graduation. It was very nice you would have been so proud. Both daddy and I cried we just don't know where the years have gone. Enjoy every minute life is very fleeting. We are back at your apartment. We love staying here. I had to buy towels at pottery barn on king street because you did not have any clean ones. We are tired but this has all be so different without you with us. I am glad you are having such a wonderful time. Just don't go anywhere alone. I love you so much. mama
ReplyDeleteMissed you today at graduation, it really hasn't sunk in yet so I can't believe it. I wish I was in London with you but we will take our backpacking trip in Scotland soon. Have fun and be safe or Mom will make me go get you and it will be like "Taken" (just don't get kidnapped). Love you and I'll talk to you later- Berton
